Victory's Edge is a cutting edge training program for everyone from new, young athletes, to veteran triathlon competitors. With their team of coaches from across the U.S., Victory's Edge offers online and in person programs to help bring out the athlete in everyone.
Task:
From obsolete pages to difficult navigation, the Victory's Edge website needed some UX love.
Home Page
The menu bar on the original home page had items spill over, as well as a slideshow of old, low quality pictures. The content found in the menu buttons was in a random order, making it hard for the user to find important and specific pages.
The new home page has a simpler, more modern look.
Meet The Coaches
To access the Meet the Coaches page, the user would have to click the menu bar button either twice to get to the Coaches page, or once to pick from a drop down menu to view the individual coach's page. The pages are full of text and sans color which leaves the reader bored and unwilling to read it all.
Now, the user can access the Meet the Coaches page with one click of the menu bar, and go into the individual pages with ease.
Obsolete Pages

Clicking around the original site, I found that many of the original website's buttons were misleading or otherwise completely obsolete. Some buttons would lead the user to password protected pages, while others simply would not load.
I redesigned the resources page to include all working and relevant pages that the user can easily navigate through.

The new Resources page features working links all in one place so that the user can toggle back and forth between the site and the links, while the Athletes page gives the user a fun and easy way to read through the success stories of Victory's Edge.
